Slowdazzzle is another interesting character ala Mick Chillage, whom he happens to be close friends with. He’s a Berklee College of Music guy (saxophone) who discovered electronic music after an industrial accident damaged one of his hands. We like him because he’s invested a deep amount of time in to deep ambient style chill-out music and makes music for various labels around the world. He also lives in a small town and keeps himself musically connected with a variety of influences from John Coltrane to Tom Verlaine – something we can very much identify with. He’s pretty funny, too. So sit back for another episode of high-quality ambient music.    – Sean-Michael Yoder

After an industrial accident damaged one hand, he started using PC’s, in conjunction with Looping, editing, virtual synths, and virtual instruments software, to create music. He lives on a lake. He hopes people will find his music healing and restful.

// Wirik //

Emerging producer Wirik is a new voice worth reckoning with. He doesn’t make much dance floor music, preferring to skirt the edges with ballsy composition that do not fit neatly in to specific categories. The Canadian, by way of Mexico, offers a wide spectrum of ambient, downtempo, and experimental visions along with high quality dub techno and electro cuts with production partner Ivan Dbri that we find impossible to resist. Look for an upcoming release from that duo on our podcast partner, 530Techno‘s imprint.   – Sean-Michael Yoder

// Bio //

Born in Mexico City. He began his studies as a musician and jazz guitar classified. His biggest influences has been Paco de Lucia, Victor Wooten and Ozric Tentacles. He is tired of working on projects with people who were not really committed and did not feel the same passion for this art , in the UK was where he really understood how it could combine the sound of guitar. In Canada , with a group of Mexican electronic musicians , had the opportunity to perfect this project in early 2010. He was also invited and decided to collaborate with this friend Ivan DBri and this duo project.
